Part of our drive across country and we needed lunch. Looking for mom and pop places that represented local flavor. We pulled up and decided to eat inside. We ordered hotdogs and burgers and a blt all with fries. The food was good but what makes this place great is the friendly service. The people working that day were do nice and noticed the states listed on our suburban windows from California to North Carolina. They struck up a conversation about our trip and offered to take our picture in front of their sign which I would post but it's in my camera not my phone. So nice.

Another landmark in North Augusta. I ate here as a child. One of the last old drive thrus around. Good food, kind staff. Family oriented.

The last of a dying breed, the Sno-Cap Drive In is pure Americana! The fantastic mid century drive in features several car spots and an indoor/outdoor seating area as well. The food is classic 60's dinner eats; think burgers/fries. We really enjoyed our shakes, fries, hot dog and turkey sandwich. Our waitress was adorable, upbeat and clearly loved her job which is awesome! We really enjoyed our lunch at the Sno-cap and would definitely come back again!

Brought here for lunch by an Augusta native for lunch today. I love the nostalgia.. He described it as "Sonic, before Sonic existed". Very old fashioned menu. He had the pizza burger, which looked good, and I had the Sno Cap 10 oz burger w/ grilled onions. As usual, I had unsweetened Tea to drink. The food definitely had that old time diner taste. i The waitress apologized for the wait (food took a few extra minutes, but we were talking and did not notice), and definitely did her best to make sure we were taken care of. Even bringing me an extra "carafe" of tea, explaining they did not get a lot of people that order unsweetened tea.

I love this place! It's a vintage drive-in right in the center of historic North Augusta. They still serve root beer in those big frosted glasses and little kids sit at the counter sipping coke floats. The food is not knock-your-socks-off (the burgers aren't hand formed, for example), but I always come away feeling like I've shared a meal with a bunch of friends.

Fantastic, a blast from the past for sure. Ice cold drinks in frosty mugs, yes please! I have no idea why they don't have 5 stars. Such an adorable little drive in located in with friendly down home staff. The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly. We'll definitely be back. Yum Yum Yum!

This place may be a historical institution for North Augusta but the food is terrible. Very low quality items used. I ordered a HB Steak and it was a frozen patty! Not a good quality frozen patty at that. Iced Tea tasted like fish. Yuck! It may be a good place for a classic car meet but not to bring your family to eat.

What a great authentic Drive-in! I was a frequent goer of this restaurant when I worked downtown and in the North Augusta area.Just a short drive over the bridge to SC. Without getting my facts together I can summarize. The Sno-cap is an original 1960s drive-in. They often have classic car meets. This is a great family experience! I recommend you bring everyone you know! snocapdrivein.com
